About J. David


    J. David Andrews is a commercial stock photographer based in Ottawa, Canada.  He specializes in natural history, landscape, travel and outdoor recreation themes.  His photographic credits include thousands of images published, in a variety of media, throughout North and South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.


    David has also worked extensively as a professional guide, leading trips through some of the most spectacular and remote wilderness regions of the Canadian Arctic.  He has taught photographic workshops in Quebec’s Gatineau Park and in Ottawa since 1995.  As well he has instructed courses at the School of Photographic Arts: Ottawa; and has lectured on photography for a variety of organizations including, the University of Ottawa, Algonquin College and The Canadian Association of Photographic Art.
